Cottage Transformation

This cottage had recently undergone a beautiful extension, and the owners wanted an open garden to compliment this.

Prior to the transformation, the garden was over-run and lacked patio space. It was in need of some good TLC.

Our first job was to dig out the turf and clean up the space in order to create a practical entertaining space and large lawned area for the family to enjoy.

We were able to incorporate many reclaimed materials on the project which served to enhance the historic beauty of the cottage.
We were also able to make a feature of the well, which again was an original feature of the property. This combined with a sandstone patio terrace and raised railway sleeper vegetable garden struck the perfect balance between aged cottage beauty and modern family living.
